Independent Kurdistan appreciates Kuwait’s recognition of our democratic right to independence. We have no desire for greater territory outside of the autonomous KRG region and respect all international borders. We agree with Kuwait that the PKK operations are deplorable and we call on the PKK to discontinue it’s terrorist activities.
With the peshmerga withdrawn from the Turkish border we have redeployed the troops to occupy critical areas in Kirkuk including the Northern Oil Field and the Northern Gas Field. We have capture three members of the PKK and offered them for trail in Turkey. We are mobilizing our Assayish intelligence unit to investigate and prosecute any individuals responsible for violence against the Iranian government. We condemn violence and send our support in ending such violence.
