Israel affirms its recognition of an independent Kurdistan in defense of oppressed minorities pursuit of legitimate self-determination. The Israeli government condemns Iran's recent provocative actions, including joint military exercises with Syria and the build-up of its forces along the Kurdistan border, and notes with displeasure the Iranian government's failure to quell recent protests in Tehran that are contributing to rising tensions.
As such, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have upgraded its defense condition, and mobilized its strategic bombing force. Israel is prepared to respond with all necessary force to any acts of aggression against the Israeli nation.
