1. An unidentified small armed group has set fire to an oil field in the Taq Taq fields in Northern Iraqi Kurdistan, operated by China’s Sinpoec and Turkey’s General Enerji. Six employees were injured in the process. Taq Taq can produce up to 50,000 barrels a day. Sinopec and General Enerji fear a cease in production if additional security measures cannot be implemented.
