International Update: Protest Erupts

The Turkish Kurd diaspora, enraged at the violence against Turkey civilians, have taken to the streets in mass protest. Prominent politicians doubt the legitimacy of Turkish investigations into the attack by military officers and demand that Turkey remove its troops from the border as a sign of good faith. Protests are presently peaceful. The Village Guard System, a Kurdish militia forced funded and armed against the domestic Kurdish population, has not yet been mobilized.
