1. Greece, a historic supporter of Kurdish separatist movements, has introduced a Resolution (non-binding) to the General Assembly to recognize Kurdistan as a sovereign entity. With tacit support from both the Netherlands and Belgium, UN representatives are lobbying for resolution support. The Great Powers are expected to heavily influence the outcome of the resolution.
